Ateneum Art Museum

The Ateneum Art Museum, an architectural jewel of Helsinki, was designed by Theodor Höijer and completed in 1887. Originally intended to house both the Finnish Art Society and the School of Applied Arts, the building itself is a masterpiece of neo-Renaissance design.
